Episode 200! (ish)  Solocast

Each week I explore big ideas through a psychedelic point of view with a core anchor rooted in cognitive liberty. My mission is to co-create spontaneous, authentic experiences with others in the flow of a real conversation that is emergent, organic and always  thought provoking, inspiring, heart opening, raw, and real. 

I'm interested in all things that question authority, assumptions, and premises. I am lit up by big ideas, deep unconventional conversations, embodied experiences, community, humor, awe-inspiring art, and radical workings toward wholeness, connection and creativity.

I aim to create the latter. I believe we are in a transformative phase where consciousness is evolving and we are here to know ourselves and each other more whole and deeply, like never before. We need each other, and we need real commit and support systems. I believe we have the opportunity to enter into a new phase of humanity where we are unleashing more creativity, art, freedom, through diversity, novelty and radical experimentation in social organization, and a re-shaping of our values and incentive systems. The internet, Psychedelics, and the principles of liberty have the power to change peoples lives for the better. This show aims to bring these topics, and more, together in a holistic approach. 

This show is all about changing the world for the better by authentically co-creating in community.

Adam is a doctoral candidate in Anthropology and Communications at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Catalonia, focusing on Medical Anthropology and Cultural Psychiatry. He is an active member of the  Medical Anthropology Research Center (MARC) and has spent close to 5 years living and working in the Peruvian Amazon, facilitating workshops and retreats while conducting extensive fieldwork and qualitative research in collaboration with ICEERS, the Beckley Foundation, and, more recently, the  Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College, where he is currently a visiting student.  Adam is currently the Director of Therapy and Integration for Rē Precision Health, a retreat centre on the pacific coast of Mexico. When he is not facilitating workshops, Adam conducts preparation and integration sessions for individual clients and online groups, offering a unique approach to mental and emotional health that blends insights from Medical Anthropology and Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Art, Integrative and Existential Psychotherapy, Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry (CI) psychotherapeutic approach and Traditional Plant Medicine, all rooted in a grounded relational framework that highlights the reciprocal and interdependent nature of our wellbeing. Adam is the co-founder and COO of Hidden Hand Media, a creative agency in the space of transformation and technology and a staff member and media associate of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. Adam has lectured, spoken and presented work at many academic and professional conferences and congresses around the world and had his work has been featured in various media platforms and podcasts. Adam is also a good friend of mine, and I always enjoy chatting with him. In this episode we talk about Adam’s newest project Healing From Healing. Solocast: The Sacred Role Of The Trickster, The Importance of Comedy, Digital Minimalism, and My New Offerings

My good friend Travis is back on the show to talk about his first experience with the Toad in Oaxaca, Mexico. We Also talk about mega dose mushroom Journeys with Grand Master Baba Kilindi Iy's students, family and friends. Travis talks about the wisdom he's gained from it all, and how it all comes back to "Be Here Now" We also get into why the decriminalization of plant medicines, and sacred earth medicines is important and should happen before some of the other avenues such as the medicalization/ therapy only access model.   Travis is a good friend of mine. He was the Field Coordinator for Decriminalize Denver, initiative 301 that passed on May 7th 2019. The Law in Denver now states that Psilocybin Mushrooms are decriminalized, allowing for personal grows, possession and consumption, but prohibiting any sales.  Shortly After Travis helped found The Denver Mushroom Cooperative (DMC). Savej is an amazing musician, and he's got an encyclopedic level of knowledge and depth of wisdom that he shares in this episode.
