On July 14, 2016, commercial pilots Sydnie Uemoto and David McMahon were flying a small private plane from O'ahu to Kona when they lost all power.  In Part 1, we heard about landing in the ocean 25 miles off the Kona Coast and swimming.  In Part 2, we hear more about the moment they saw the Coast Guard rescue helicopter, the rescue, the aftermath--and from Sydnie's Mom Andrina Uemoto about what the family knew, and when.  It's  a tear-jerker!  Photo is Sydnie and Andrina at Kona Inn one year later.
