Isolated Motoring

In this special episode recorded with European friends Amin Siala and Daniel Zizka, we talk all things Porsche up until we don't and get sidetracked by the SLR and Murcielago. 

In typical fashion, our first episode didn't go to plan. We did no prep but we do end up talking about cars we missed during our break, car we think are coming out in 2021,  and that awful BMW CES video. 

We'll try to be more prepared next time and sort out the audio sync issues. 

Our last episode of the year wrapping up what's been a year of many highs and many lows. From Maxx, Tom, Mitch, and Ken thanks to everyone who listened to our rants these last few months. Hopefully we'll be back for more next year. 

In this episode we talk about some of the challenges we face in Japan in the car world. For this episode I brought along the help of some of my buddies in Japan; Andre (@andreezy_cars), Koji (@ketakoji), Toshi (@tdogid05), and Hugo (@kaga_photo) for a no-holds barred talk. 

As usual we sort of get off topic. 

In this bonus episode to make up for the lack of car chat in the last one (sorry about that, please address your complaints to Maxx), I chat to Amin Siala (@amin.siala) who refuses to admit he's French and to Alex Babington (@alexbabington) who likes French cars. Naturally we talk about the Alpine A110, Ferraris, the ban on petrol/diesel cars in the UK for 2030, and all that jazz.

In a bizarre turn of events this once motoring related podcast has taken a sharp turn into pizza discussions. This week instead of talking about cars (because there weren't many new cars to talk about) we have instead, at the behest of Maxx, in some detail addressed the topic of Pizza Hut's decline versus Domino's. Unsurprisingly, Mitch decided to skip this one out so it was just Maxx, Tom, and Ken.

We're back! After missing out last week because three of us had other things to do, we're back this week with special guest Chris Morrison who talks about his eating problems. We actually do end up talking about new cars too, sort of. As usual we get quite carried away and off course. Enjoy this mess of an episode with Tom, Maxx, Mitch, and Ken. 

This week Aaron Chung from Weibo is back! He joins Maxx, Tom, Mitch, and Ken for some chat about the Le Mans Hypercar class, modern speedsters/barchettas, and how he started his massive model car collection. Plus an update on Aaron's RS4. 

In what was perhaps the messiest recording yet Tom, Mitch, Maxx, and Ken try to talk about the controversial SSC top speed run video, memories from our driving test, and some birds mate while we talk about electric cars.

This week Tom, Mitch, Maxx, and Ken celebrate 10 episodes of not being cancelled. We talk about our favourite events (hint: it's The Quail), Mitch goes off on Isuzu, and of course Maxx brings up the new BMW M3 again. Not a week goes by the new M3 doesn't get mentioned.
