ISRAEL, an EVERLASTING nation! - Parshah@theBarber - Parshas Vayishlach!
The Jewish nation has survived unspeakable tragedy, and we still stand tall, because G-d Himself protects us and rests with us. The story of the Jewish people is embodied by the story of the battle between Ya'akov Avinu and the angel of the nation of Edom, at whose hands we have suffered the most bitter and prolonged exile yet. Yet, just as Ya'akov was named Yisrael after not only surviving, but besting the angel, so too, the light of the Jewish nation shines through even the darkest of times. And just as Ya'akov's injuries were healed by the sun, so too will our pain and suffering be healed by the light of Mashiach, may it be G-d's will that he come speedily, TODAY!
