In the aftermath of Hamas' brutal attack on Israel, in which close to 900 innocent civilians were killed—including women and children—one uncomfortable fact remains. Israel itself kills twice as many Jewish children each day as Hamas did on October 7. Does that mean anything? Existentially? Or does the God of Jacob no longer care about child sacrifice?
