Kenny Benge preached a sermon entitled “Israel's Predicament and Ours" based on Exodus 33:12-23 for The Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost on October 19, 2014. In Exodus 33, God’s relationship with Israel is in crisis. This section is the theological center of the book of Exodus, and deals with one of the central questions of the whole of Scripture, pointing us forward to the Gospel of Jesus Christ: ”How can a holy God dwell among and with a sinful people?
