A catastrophic fire aboard the International Space Station, how do the astronauts deal with this critical emergency? Andrea Boyd is a voice from Earth for those aboard the ISS, and someone who is trained and skilled in dealing with some of the world's most critical engineering challenges.

As a Flight Operations Engineer, it's Andrea's job to handle any and all safety, logistical and communication procedures for the ISS and its crew. Andrea works in tandem with several other stations across the US, Japan, Russia and Europe - she is required to speak both English and Russian fluently, all whilst living in Germany. 

On this week's episode, Dr Chris Maguire talks to Andrea about her love for space and where it all began, before breaking down what she had to learn and overcome to live out her dream of working for the European Space Agency.
