From sprinklers going off during the reception soaking wedding guests to a bride passing out during her ceremony to Star Trek’s William Shatner being a wedding guest, Robin and special guest Ashley of Ashley + Jay Films laugh about working together on these hilarious weddings with unbelievable moments!

It all started in 2006 when Ashley was thrown into the wedding industry by being asked to photograph a friend’s wedding because she had a “nice camera”. After this kept happening, Ashley’s love for weddings grew and she recruited then boyfriend, Jay to join her as her 2nd shooter. That all changed in 2017 when they were once again recruited by a friend to also shoot their wedding film. This event changed the trajectory of their longtime goals. After a solid 10 years in the industry, through storytelling and the art of filmmaking, Ashley & Jay set on a path to transition to cinematography exclusively.
