It All Starts With…

This week will be both informational and inspirational. As a church, we have been going through a transition, and we need to get back to the basics of who we are and where we are going.

• As a group, we need to look at the direction of where we are going with some specific positions within the church and why we exist as a church.

1 Samuel 8:4-5 (NIV)  The people of Israel wanted a king.

When situations get crazy and when things get out of our control, it’s always good to go back to the basics.

Matthew 22:35-39 (ESV)  First, love the Lord with everything in you; and then, love your neighbor as yourself.

To love God, we need to:

Know Him (read Scripture)

Listen to Him (prayer)

To love our neighbors as ourselves, we need to:

Know them (BLESS)

Serve them

Who is our neighbor?

Let’s make a fresh covenant and commit to a few things together as Hope Community Church.

1. Commit to daily time in Scripture and listening to God in prayer.

2. Commit to daily serving someone, somewhere.
