January 25, 2023: It’s raining today. I’m grateful for this. Out here where Piper Onion and I live it is a slightly heavier, but not torrential downpour, of rain. It’s steady and will be consistent throughout the whole day. As I see what they’re going through out in California, after so little rain for so many years, and now hit with more rain than they can handle, it makes me grateful that there is relatively nice weather out my way on the East Coast. This is the kind of rain our area needs: steady and consistent, allowing it to soak into the ground where it’s needed without washing away the topsoil. With the condition of our planet right now, and where it’s projected to go, I’m grateful that I’m not as impacted as other people. But with that awareness I hope that we realize there are other people in this world desperately in need of our help, and I hope we can all provide some form of aide for them. We’re all in this together, whether you like it or not. | Today’s character is a curveball for everyone.
