Often, we know we know and we know if you know how to do it our way, it’ll work. But the truth is, it doesn’t have to be done our way. As long as it gets done, that’s what matters. People crave autonomy and independence and the freedom to do things the way the desire to do it. The experiences that come along with that are theirs to have and we don’t have the right to force our way on them. This is a lesson I've had to learn the hard way dealing with strong independent women like my wife, Diana, my daughter Aniya and my sisters.
