For as long as any of us can remember, Pepsi and Coke have been the two soda pop kings. For the most part, their rivalry has been of a cold war nature, but when the market share of the Philippines became fair play, the big guns came out. In the end, many would be injured, and five would be dead.
Cindy went with the theme of Filipino foods and made a deliciously hearty beef mechado stew with a side of lumpia which is a must try! For dessert, she went with cassava cake which was met with mixed reviews. For drinks, we had, punyeta, a cocktail made of iced tea, pineapple, and rum; so good it makes you curse.
