The students walked through the final moments of Jesus on the cross and what they mean for us today.
1. The Cross Paid It (The Payment Was Finished)
When Jesus said “It is finished,” He wasn’t giving up, He was declaring victory.
The debt of sin was fully paid. Not partial. Not a payment plan. Paid in full.
2. The Grave Was a Process (The Process Felt Final)
Those 3 days felt like the end… but God was still working.
Just because God feels silent doesn’t mean He is absent.
3. The Resurrection Proved It (The Proof Was Revealed)
The empty tomb is our proof that Jesus has power over sin and death.
The cross paid it. The resurrection proves it.
Bottom Line:
Jesus finished the work… but we still have to respond.
Knowing about Him isn’t the same as surrendering to Him.
