7 Sayings of Jesus on the Cross
• Father, forgive them, they no not what they do
• Mother, this is your son, son this is your mother

• Today you will be with me in paradise

1. What was the finished transaction – What Was Paid For Fully?
II Corinthians 5:21
SIN IS A DEBT YOU CANNOT PAY – ONLY JESUS CAN. This church can’t pay it – ONLY JESUS.
It doesn’t matter how good you are – you can’t get from earth to heaven on your own – it’s too far.
2. What was the Payment?
Romans 6:23

3. What was the proof of Payment?
It is the resurrection that makes Jesus stand supreme.
A dead Savior can’t help anyone.

The Resurrection Gives Us:

Joy – James 1:2-4
Security – Acts 1:4
