Even if you're not a parent, you can definitely implement a lot of the content that will help you to be more focused and organized and just have discipline. Also in saying this, is that I will have a lot of things specifically for parents that won't be relevant to you.
As a parent if you have children, there's these false beliefs out there or something that society ingrained in you to say that you have to put your children first, you put them into this world, you decided to make them. They didn't ask to be here. Therefore their needs, their desires, their everything comes before you. Now I want to call bollocks on that. And the reason I'm saying that is because if you don't look after yourself first, who on earth is going to look after them?
My mom died at a young age of 55 even before she turned 55, and she died because I can't say this is the sole reason but my mom was sickly a lot. And my older brother is 12 years older than me. And my younger brother is 9 years older than me. So I was very late to the family and my mom spent a lot of time and energy on me. I'm not saying that I'm the reason that she died at all. But what I am saying is that I saw firsthand how my mom put my priorities and my needs before her own. And she died young, she had cancer on and off for about 15 years, and on top of that, she ended up dying of a stroke. Just assume the medication and all the things her body went through over the years, eventually took a toll on her.
And I'm not making this a sad dramatic lesson, but I want to explain to you that, if you look after yourself first, this is a good thing because you can have a longer life potentially for your children, for your family.
In this lesson, I'm going to give you guys 5 Top Tips, and why you should implement each of these and how this can help you in a big way.
Not just to reduce the stress and the chaos in your own body or head or whatever you want to call it, but potentially to help you actually live longer for your children.
