  • S2E1 Broad Street, Fundraising, World Mental Health

    Sheridan ran the Broad Street Run (a 10 mile run in Philadelphia) and is much more of a runner than Kellie is. Running bigger races can be super fun but totally overwhelming, but being a runner is a goal for both of us. For the Broad Street Run, you can join by entering a bid, but also by joining a group and fundraising. While running is hard, fundraising is harder. Just ask Sheridan. The two also talk about mental health and the struggle of keeping your life in line while your brain has other ideas.

    It's basic girl fall for Kellie and Sheridan! As a midsize person, Kellie has trouble shopping. She is very excited about Old Navy being size-inclusive but like so many, has trouble shopping for clothes! The two decide, being in the right headspace is important when going shopping! Who wants to go to all the fall activities!? The fall foliage is coming soon and we are very hype for fall hikes, apple picking and the delicious food that comes along with the farms!   • S1E18 Floods, End of Summer, Holiday Savings

    We're back from a hiatus! Summer has gotten away from us and a lot has happened! It is that hard to keep up! After catching up, we talk about Flooding. Our towns were hit recently by the end of Hurricane Ida, causing the river that divides our towns to TRIPLE in size. It is so hard to see peoples homes a businesses destroyed. With hurricane season, comes the end of summer (sadly?). We talk about what we missed out on this summer, what we are looking forward to during these "Golden Weeks" of weather perfection and more! Finally, as crazy as it is, we talked about Savings for the holidays. Kellie says she is strapped for this year when it comes to money and together we brainstorm some ideas that are great for all!

    While Sheridan is pet sitting, we figured we would chat about how hard it is to pet-sit! Taking Milo in for a week threw off the flow for Sheridan and her family for a little bit. It's truly not easy getting a dog to get into a new routine for a short period of time! Where is your next road trip too?     The weather is changing and were (sort of) loving it! From when to use PTO, to the oppressive heat and sunburns...Summer can be so hard. So can podcasts! There are more than 2 million podcasts and you chose to listen to us. We appreciate you and share some of our favorite podcasts which we think you would enjoy. If you've been listening to us, you know we both work in social media, but we have our own social as well.   • S1E14 Coffee, Starting a Business, Farmers Markets - Special Guest Celine
    We had our FIRST guest! Who owns a small coffee business, and attends farmers markets? Our friend Celine Patterson does! This episode starts out with us discussing the complexities of coffee. While Celine and Sheridan are daily coffee drinkers, Kellie RARELY drinks it but loves the smell. It is so hard to know all the different flavors, styles, techniques and so on, but that's okay...it can be hard to find what coffee is for you. Celine shares with us how she and her husband, Dean, started Three Dogs Coffee just over a year ago and their plans moving forward with it. While Kellie and Sheridan dream of opening a Bagel shop, Celine chatted about the ins and outs of starting a business and how it can really be that hard. Being an ecommerce business is tough so the Three Dogs Coffee crew attends Farmers Markets. During the summer it is a great place for fresh foods and treats, but can be very political and overwhelming too! Thank you to, Celine, for stopping by to chat!
