We are back with another episode of It Is What It Is! On this episode I had the honor of having my good friend Mayo (aka Penny Visuals) stop by the show to chop it up with me. We discussed so much on this show. Mayo discusses his journey  in life that led him to embarking on the journey of becoming a full time photographer. Topics also included understanding the difference between understanding the business of your craft vs that of just having talent,   the challenges with starting out as a business owner and the challenges you have to be prepared for when venturing out on your own. We even discussed some of the reasons why we believe it is difficult for black people to support black owned businesses and even  discussed the importance of saving money (Yes saving money is still important ) .
