Robert McDermott is a Dublin-based writer whose work blends literary fiction with the supernatural. His debut novel Jone$town was published in 2019, followed by the short story collection The Occulting Light in 2022. His stories have appeared widely in anthologies both in print and online.His writing often explores the intersection of the everyday and the uncanny, drawing influence from authors such as Kurt Vonnegut, M.R.
