A community isn't just solely defined as a collective of families and individuals that live within a certain demographic or area, it is much more than its connotations stand for. Join us as we dive into a candid conversation on the institution and just what it takes to save an area, in all its glorious yet raw forms. Members from the Washington DC Council and Communities join together for an intimate forum about their community. Representing this forum are panel members from the City Council, the communities themselves, and actual social workers and activists that symbolize the heart and soul of Washington. Learn as they dive into discussions and arguments on topics such as accessibility to government grants, the roles, and responsibilities of each individual within the community (from the government to the youngins themselves), the existing advocacies therein, and just what can be done to preserve and develop the community.
