In today’s interview, we meet Sophia Schevers. Sophia is the Director of Sting Austin FC, a local club soccer team in Austin, TX and has worked in the coaching field for over 15 years.
She played both collegiately and professionally and has earned the reputation as being one of the best youth coaches in the country. In this talk, Sophia discusses how she helps great high school players transition to becoming great college players by teaching them how to sacrifice the small stuff for the greater good that is to come. This philosophy has earned her plenty of praise over the years and is a big reason why so many of her athletes go on to play and succeed at higher levels.
