Over my career as an IT developer and manager, I have seen so many solutions developed that were unnecessarily complicated. Here are some of my thoughts on why this happens.

A variety of things that I have learned over the years, from reading, interacting with people, and observing. I have tried a lot of things and made a lot of mistakes, and I will share them with you so you can save yourself some time! I hope to provide some useful advice, but also to share my optimism about our world and what you can accomplish in your life.
