Poor vocabulary will hold back your learners. A strong vocabulary will help individuals extract the exact meaning of what someone has said or written. It will also help with speaking and writing. Someone who struggles with vocabulary will tend to subvocalize thus slowing down their reading speed. Being able to read faster enables an individual to consume more content.
