Ithaca Minute – Anything Goes, Flooding, GrassRoots Dream Team, Triphammer Wines

Listen Later

Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes” comes to the Ithaca High School stage this weekend, with three performances on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon!

Press Bay Alley hosted one of their occasional holiday farmers markets on Thursday, and you can see some of the same farmers at the Ithaca Farmers Market on Saturday to stock up for Passover and Easter feasts.

An inch or so of rain through Friday morning isn’t a huge amount of rain, but the heavy rainfall in the area combined with the mass of melting snow from a few weeks ago means we could have localized flooding in Ithaca and Central New York.

The GrassRoots Festival has a limited time offer where a thousand bucks gets you backstage access for life at any GrassRoots Festival you attend. No, that doesn’t include lifetime admission — but it does include ten full weekend passes.

And Triphammer Wines & Spirits is celebrating their 76th anniversary this Saturday with storewide tastings of wines and liquors plus tastings from Ithaca Coffee Company next door.
