Ithaca Minute – Forcible touching, road striping, Jimkata

Listen Later

Here’s the Ithaca Minute for October 20th!

The Ithaca Police have released surveillance images of a man who’s a suspect in a “forcible touching” incident that occurred on the Ithaca Commons on October 17 at 4:45pm. Police say “The subject is a white male, about 45 years old, and has short dark hair.” Find photos at 14850.com. Anyone with info that could help identify the suspect is asked to contact Investigator Cady at 607-216-3232 or [email protected].

The City of Ithaca says a roadway striping contractor will be continuing to paint crosswalks, stop bars, and traffic symbols “throughout the City” on Saturday, October 21st. “Motorists should expect temporary lane closures and traffic delays,” according to city officials.

And six final shows for Ithaca electro-rockers Jimkata, over the next couple of weeks, start tonight in Rochester with a show at Flour City Station. The popular local band says they’re going “on hold indefinitely” after this fall’s tour.

From Rochester, they head to Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, Manchester CT, and New York City.
