Here’s the Ithaca Minute for April 4th!

A man who told police he’d been stabbed on the Ithaca Commons late Friday night flagged down an ambulance in the west end for help, according to the Ithaca Police Department.

Sunny Days of Ithaca, a locally owned, locally focused shop on the corner of Green and Cayuga Streets in Downtown Ithaca, celebrate their third anniversary this month.

The Tompkins County Health Department says they’re looking for a dog that bit a person last Sunday evening in Collegetown, to make sure the dog doesn’t have a rabies infection. the dog is described as a young, brown, male dog accompanied by an adult male owner. Please call the Health Department at 274-6688 if you know the dog.

Cinemapolis is teaming up with Ithaca College’s Project Look Sharp for a one-night-only showing of the classic movie of George Orwell’s “1984.” There’ll be an interactive discussion led by IC’s Project Look Sharp directors, “about education, critical thinking and media literacy in the age of “Fake News.”

And the City of Ithaca has over three dozen cars and trucks for sale this week pursuant to New York State’s “abandoned vehicles” law, with auctions at three towing lots this Wednesday.
