Playoff week is here! The inaugural 12-team college football playoff finally graces us with its presence this weekend and the very first game if this new era is an exceptional treat for fans of midwest college football: a renewed Battle of Indiana between the upstart Indiana Hoosiers -- 11-1 for the first time ever in Curt Cignetti's first season at the helm -- and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish -- 11-1 themselves following a 10-game winning streak that has followed arguably the most embarrassing loss in program history to Northern Illinois in week2 of the season.

We have a 2-part special show to break down the game for you. In the first half of the show, Sammy Jacobs of Hoosier Huddle returns to break down the Indiana portion of the game. What lessons have the team learned from the Ohio State game? How can they shut down Notre Dame's rushing attack? Will a sea of red once again make an appearance in South Bend?

In the second half of the show, Jack Soble from Blue and Gold Illustrated returns to the show to break down the Notre Dame half of the game. How will the vaunted Irish defense respond after getting worked against USC last time out? Are star running back Jeremiyah Love, and defensive tackle Howard Cross III healthy, and if so how will that impact the game? How will offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock plan to attack an Indiana defense that has been equally stingy this season?
