On the latest episode of Inside the Pylon, Clinton flies "host solo" as Ryan checked Little Caesar's Arena off his arena checklist. But he was joined by Redcast Rob from the Go Big Redcast to help break down the Cornhuskers heading into 2025.
What are expectations in year 3 for Matt Rhule? Freshman QB phenom Dylan Raiola was perfectly fine in his debut act, but now with a full offseason in OC Dana Holgerson's system (and exceptional reinforcements at the WR position) what can we expect for an encore? On defense, the unit was exceptional the last two years under Tony White, but with his departure to Florida State (and the promotion of secondary coach John Butler to DC) what can we expect from this unit in 2025?
Clinton also hangs around to talk Michigan. Depending on your outlook to last year's team, it went either as expected or was a disappointment in year one under Sherrone Moore. A 7-5 regular season finished with a shocking win against hated rival (and eventual national champion) Ohio State, and the Wolverines stunned Alabama in a bowl game. But heading into 2025, an offense that lagged for much of last season gets a much-needed boon with the importing of new OC Chip Lindsay from North Carolina, and with heralded freshman QB Bryce Underwood. However, the Wolverines do lose what could end up being four first-round picks to the NFL draft, and still have a dearth of wide receivers. What can we expect in year two of the Moore era?
