Hurricane Irma was charging up the coast of Florida while Liz, Petra, and Kate were recording this podcast. At the same time, 100 dogs from Texas were landing in San Diego to make room in Texas shelters for dogs rescued from Hurricane Harvey. While everyone seems to agree that these dogs needed a chance for a better life, sometimes well meaning rescue groups aren't as careful as they could be. Kate leads the conversation here and discusses her concerns.
