Jesus often called God his father whenever he was teaching.You must understand that during this time the majority of the jews had not heard anybody speak like that and also , him calling God his father told them that he claim to be the same as God. Oh at least in the same class as God.After all a cow gives birth to a cow and a dog gives birth to a dog and God would give birth to a God as well.
