Write for your Life

"It's a magical electric shock."

Listen Later

Margot talks about her love of writing, what she uses it for and how she expresses herself creatively. Her first memory of writing was sharing grievances with her parents. As a natural introvert this was the perfect way to communicate. Margot progressed to writing poetry and short stories and also uses writing to work through problems and challenges. Her favourite authors are P. G. Wodehouse and Haruki Murakami. A writing prompt if you fancy putting pen to paper is Margot's description of finding just the right words: "It's a magical electric shock..." Good luck and do get in touch ([email protected]) if you'd like to take part in the podcast or Instagram @writeenjoyrepeat. Also get in touch if we've inspired you to pick up a pen either again, or for the first time.
