Having become a fan of this Hill Country, "Texas Alt Punk" band, I really enjoyed this conversation with Johnny Elrod, the band's drummer late last month. Johnny shared some of the band's history and their recording sessions over the years; leading us up to their worldwide digital and value4value debut of "Against All Love" in Episode 35 of It's A Mood. Looking forward to seeing them live again, soon.

Where does the time go?! As usual, there is more and more great value4value music and events going on around the world. This all got me a little nostalgic for some 80's-style sounds, which then led me all over the place - the It's A Mood, way. Join us for a special edition of "It's A Mood" for an extended interview with the one and only Sara Jade. Sara discusses her background in poetry, which influences her songwriting, and her range of music from Americana, to Country, to Rock and... to spooky rock? She shares the story behind her new song "Hippies Raised a Cowgirl," inspired by a misheard song on the radio. She also talks about her experience with Spotify removing her song "Never Knew" due to (* cough *) 'phantom streaming', once again highlighting the benefits of the value4value model. The episode includes recordings of live performances and Sara's upcoming tour dates.
