Meet Ashley Deaver with It's a Sensory World, a local Farmer's Branch, TX serving the special needs population in the education field.  Most of us are familiar with 5 senses, but we actually have 8 senses. A sensory gym is a therapeutic indoor play structure with swings, rock wall, and springless trampoline - and so much more.  These tools help develop foundational support and regulation of the other 3 senses, including inner ear (balance), hunger, and sadness, 

Founded in 2007, the founder opened the first open concept sensory gym in Texas, and only the second in the nation. Over 350 children on the autism spectrum use their facilities and services every day.
