In today's episode, we're going to talk about action. This is really where the rubber meets the road for our self-advocacy.
For instance: when we talk about boundaries, we can talk about figuring out what our boundaries are all day long, but action is where we start setting and holding those boundaries. We can talk about developing a new habit when it comes to our self care, but action is what allows us to actually begin and to follow through on those new habits.
Action is what allows us to go from avoidance to tackling the thing that we've been avoiding.
So today I want to talk about action—In a little bit differently than the way I usually hear it discussed. I want to talk about actions that are maybe a little bit less "heroic," but no less impactful.
