Based in Warsaw, Ania has served as Ezra International’s Representative in Poland for Aliyah efforts for years. She is also the Director of Simcha Dor. During this time of war in neighboring Ukraine, she is directing and coordinating a variety of organizations who are, under her leadership, working harmoniously to find places for the refugees and give them aid.

Poland – Polonia, The Place of Rest for the Jewish people - is unique when it comes to Aliyah. Tune in to hear Gary’s conversation with Ania, who will give us a glimpse of the situation with Aliyah in Poland- during communism, after the Soviet Union collapsed and now, during the war in Ukraine, with the influx of refugees (and their pets!) to her country. She will share stories of families and their needs, as well as describe the cooperation between organizations to help, each with their clear division of responsibility.
