Pat’s work with Aliyah began 30 years ago as she prayed for Jewish Refuseniks in the former Soviet Union. Until recently, she served as the Field Director of Ezra International for Europe and South America and directed Ezra UK. Now, with the passing of Mel Hoelzle, Pat is the President and CEO of the largest Christian organization that works with Aliyah.

Like Moses to Joshua and Elijah to Elisha, there was another significant torch-passing this summer with Ezra International. Mel Hoelzle, Founder and President of the Aliyah organization for a quarter century, made his Aliyah to his heavenly home on June 4th, 2022. He was ready; he had asked Pat to take the leadership of Ezra and the board approved unanimously.
