Promises don't get any better than this- In the new covenant cited in Hebrews 8, God promises he will put his law in our hearts- he will be our God, we will be his people- and we will all know him. How will we know him- He will be merciful towards us and remember our sins no more. And all of this is enacted by God and mediated to us through our great high priest, Jesus. --There are plenty of ways we can learn about God. But there is only one way to know him- by the revelation of his grace, mercy and forgiveness poured out for us in his Son on the cross.
