How do we make sure our message doesn't get lost in translation?
Everyone consumers information differently. Some people want all the details. Others just want to know where, what and why. So where does that leave us as storytellers? Keep copy brief and we may alienate those who really want to get their teeth into what we do. But go in on all the details and you could risk losing the attention of a lot of people.
In this episode I explore 3 tips for finding the balance:
1. Keep it relevant. Know your audience and what matters to them will help ensure your content is interesting to them
2. Invest time in writing a good headline to grab attention AND give those with a short attention span the information they need upfront.
3. Telling a story makes your content relatable, relevant and memorable. But make sure you don't leave too many gaps that are open to interpretation.
