Listen Later

This Sunday, it's all to play for as the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate and Junior Championship Semi-Finals take centre stage.

60 minutes. 8 teams. 4 semi-finals. For some, the dream of walking out in Croke Park is just one win away. For others, heartbreak awaits at the penultimate hurdle.

In this special edition of our LGFA Podcast, we bring you over two hours of expert analysis and exclusive interviews ahead of a pivotal weekend in the championship.

Joining us are Clare Owens (Leitrim) and Joanne Doonan (Fermanagh), both of whom featured in last year’s Intermediate and Junior semi-finals. They bring insider knowledge and expert insight as we look ahead to all the action.

In the Intermediate Semi-Finals. First up at 2pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Longford, 2022 champions Laois aim to return to Croke Park as they face Monaghan, who are chasing their first-ever Intermediate title. We hear from Laois captain Andrea Moran and Monaghan forward Jennifer Duffy ahead of the clash.

At the same time in Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada in Leitrim, last year’s runners-up Tyrone take on 2021 champions Westmeath in a battle of big ambitions. We speak to Tyrone skipper Aoibhinn McHugh and Westmeath sharpshooter Sarah Dillon about their preparations for this high-stakes encounter.

In the Junior Semi-Finals, Clones hosts a thrilling Semi Final Championship double-header. At 2pm, last year’s finalists Louth put their unbeaten run on the line against Longford, who are back in semi-final action for the first time since their 2016 triumph. Louth’s Eimear Byrne and Longford vice-captain Katie Crawford share their thoughts on this key showdown.

Then at 4pm, 2022 champions Antrim face off against 2006 champions Sligo. Antrim, unbeaten in their last 16 games, are looking to return to the big stage, while Sligo are chasing a return to Croke Park. We hear from Antrim vice-captain Ciara Brown and Sligo stalwart Nicki Brennan about what this opportunity means to their teams.

Don’t miss this comprehensive preview as we count down to a Sunday full of passion, pride, and All-Ireland dreams.
