Most of their trees are Fraser firs, which take 10 years to grow and are known for their needle retention. The farm, located in Meriden, Connecticut, allows customers to cut their own trees, with about 200-250 trees available each year. Kathy emphasized the importance of keeping the trees hydrated to prevent fire hazards. The farm also won the Big E competition and the Durham Fair competition. Kathy's son, who is retiring from the police, will join the farm to sell trees.
