You’re back… but now what?
In It’s Comeback Season Pt. 4: I’m Back… Now What?, we dive into 2 Corinthians 5:17 and unpack what it really means to step into a new season with God.
All month we’ve talked about coming back—healing, rising, moving forward. But once you’re here, the real question is: how do you function in this new season?
This message reminds us that you are not an upgraded version of your old self—you are a completely new creation. The old life, old habits, old mindsets, and old patterns cannot come with you into what God is doing now.
We also confront a hard truth: many people step into new seasons but stay connected to old things. And when you carry dead weight, it will slow you down, drain your energy, and rob you of the joy this new season is supposed to bring.
God is doing something new. But in order to fully step into it, you have to let go of what no longer belongs.
Your ability to move forward is tied to your ability to release what’s behind you.
And once you do…
you’ll finally be able to see it.
Behold… all things have become new.
