Today, I celebrate my sweetheart.
On this date, Elsie Jean Gray was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, the youngest of four children (three girls and a boy) to Victor and Dorothy Gray. The family moved to Kingston, Ontario when Elsie was only 2, but she spent most of her childhood summers with family in the Maritimes. It will always be her home.

It's Elsie's Birthday!

I am so proud of every one of my kids and grand-kids, but I have regrets. One of those regrets is that I have not been able to pour my life experience into them the way I would have liked to. What if I could spend just five minutes with each of them, every day? What would we talk about? What experiences would I share with them? What “wisdom” could I pass on to them? How would I tell them that I see the world?

With this blog, I hope to be able to do that.
