It's funny, but it's not: Trump's anti-immigrant nonsense is dangerous (still)

Okay, we've all had a few good laughs over the whole "eating dogs and cats" quip from the Tuesday night debate (what IS it with JD Vance and cats?) but in all seriousness, Donald Trump's continued reliance of "hearsay" and "TV" for information - particularly anti-immigrant rhetoric - is dangerous and reckless. Kudos to Ana Navarro for calling it out. And to Kaitlan Collins for holding a Trump surrogate to account, as well.

Also, not for nothing, but Americans eat some pretty weird stuff, ourselves - you know, like roadkill. Maybe leaps to judgement son wild rumors houldn't be our thing.

Back at home, Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns seems to be indicating some opportunities may exist to work on reforms - not enough, honestly, but some - to address mental health and gun storage (eh, it's something).

In Washington, meanwhile, Senate Democrats are taking aim at the filibuster, with Senator Raphael Warnock leading the charge, invoking the Apalachee H.S. shooting as one of a number of reasons the filibuster undoes the will of the vast majority.
