We must not think for one moment that we are capable of anything to be proud of. It's all God! Without Him, left to ourselves, we would yield nothing but destruction! We are depraved by nature; we are sinful! Up until the point God catches up to us, we are dead in sins and trespasses; we are alive only to ourselves, serving our own selfish, sinful desires! Nothing happens apart from how God wants it to happen. The world is not a runaway. God is active; He's able and willing to finish the work He started!
