Ambers' Rant:

This is #26 of 52 episodes for 2021. Its Episode 518! Man-o-man, I hope everyone out there is fairing alright with this CRAZY heat! I had to call and bug my dad for tricks on how to stay cool in heat like this – I've only ever experienced heat like this when I had AC. The BEST trick he told me about was wetting down sheets, and hanging them over the doors and windows while those are open. The breeze blows through and gets cooled by the water. You need to wet the sheets down a lot throughout the day to keep it going though, so it's a bit of work- but totally worth it!

Normally, I would recommend you get outside, but not this time. If you can, stay inside close to your endless supply of water and cold food. Or, head to somewhere with running water and shade. Either way though, turn off your media and enjoy the quiet and the calm!

Rinse and repeat as often as needed – though hopefully we don't get any more 42c days this summer.

Windows 11 – will it work on your computer? Not even the developers know! – This could cause some issues for people… we shall see what happens!

EA left the security holes from December 2020 – So if you are a user of the gaming giant Electronic Arts, be aware that there are some serious cybersecurity issues going on with them. They are getting alot of flack about it now, but the issues have yet to be resolved.

Gutenberg 10.9 renamed the Query Block – And has added Collapsible List View Items, and is rolling out Rich URL Reviews. I'm sure the renaming will cause a little confusion, though I suppose it's better done now rather than later.

Jetpack Launches a new Mobile App – Now available on iOS and Android. Gives you notifications and helps you in general to keep tabs on your site.
