On the fifth episode of season 2, Improving America's Literacy Rate, Mark and I try to wrap our heads around the statistic that; in low-income neighborhoods there is ONLY ONE BOOK FOR EVERY THREE HUNDRED CHILDREN. First off, how is this even possible? And, secondly, this has to change immediately! We must provide our children with the tools they need to succeed.
