In this episode we talk about the NBA’s efforts to amplify HBCUs and the upcoming NCAA tourney. In a nod to Women’s History Month, we put a spotlight on HBCU grad, activist and Olympian Wyomia Tyus, the first athlete (male or female) to win the 100m at consecutive Olympics. Like Tommie Smith and John Carlos, she also mounted a protest at the ‘68 Olympics, although hers was overshadowed by their iconic moment.
