Bad things happen as a result of sin and as a result of people LACKING KNOWLEDGE. People don't know what to pray for because they don't know how to pray. They do not know how to back up their prayers with Scripture because they don't know Scripture! They don't know the power of God's Word because they do not read it. They haven't been taught. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people perish because of a lack of knowledge." The reason terrible things are allowed to happen in our lives is because we don't know how to take up our shield of faith and stop them from happening. God GAVE you His Word. He TOLD YOU to arm yourself with it DAILY. It's up to us whether or not we decide to do that. Do it! It's time to KNOW YOUR SCRIPTURE!
