The empty grave reminds us that Jesus never intended on leaving us in our dead situations. Jesus’ resurrection teaches us:

1. To take heart and remember that He has overcome the world and

we can lean on the power of the risen Christ. The state of your

situation right now doesn’t mean it’s over.

2. Jesus’ resurrection redeems our guilt and shame. You don’t have

to make yourself right before you come to God, you can come as

you are, and be accepted by His love.

3. Jesus’ love is meant to be shared, not hoarded. When Mary heard

Jesus’ message, she ran to tell the others with urgency. We should

have the same heart for those who need to hear of His love.
