In this episode, we meet Yaya--a 15 year-old girl who wants to share with us her story of adoption and identity, growing up in the U.S. as Chinese American with an all-white family, and navigating spaces where very few people looked like her. She's also here with some strong messages of hope and optimism, while giving us a master lesson on why we should probably stop taking ourselves so seriously.
