Maturity in Christ will protect the body from division. Carnality or immaturity will keep the people of God from moving further in the truth of God's word. When the weaknesses of envy, strife and division are seen in the body it points to immaturity. Only the immature select their fellow laborers in ministry as their leaders above Christ.
